In previous lessons, you learned about the role of vitamins, minerals, and other nutrients in health.

But there are a number of other nutrients that we can also examine. In this module, we´ll look at phytochemicals, probiotics, coenzyme Q10, Lipoic Acid.

We will start with this module, learn about the role of phytochemicals in health, and give you guidance on the important 11 phytochemicals.

Then we look at Coenzyme Q10, a fat-soluble compound that is synthesized by the body and can be obtained from the diet.

Further, you will learn that there is not one, but several microbiota.

Finally, you will learn about the proven benefits of probiotics, as well as explore 11 probiotic foods that are very good for your health.
